Domain Name

A domain name is a name to identify the person, group, or organization that controls the devices within an area. An example of a domain name is us.cray.com.

Configuration commands

(switch(config)#) Create a domain name:

ip map-hostname

Show commands to validate functionality

(switch(config)#)

show hosts

Expected results

  • The domain name can be configured.
  • The output of all show commands is correct.
